Groundworks for 70 homes, parking, landscaping, and adoptable roads. Appointed mid-project to complete works after main contractor liquidation.

Following the liquidation of the original contractor, Combi was appointed mid-project to take over and complete the groundworks for a 70-unit residential development in West Bromwich, delivered for Taylor French Developments and Sanctuary Housing Association.

The scope included all groundworks, car parking, soft and hard landscaping, and the construction of two adoptable roads with footpaths.With minimal handover information and tight deadlines, Combi quickly established full control of the site and implemented a structured delivery programme to regain momentum and minimise disruption.

Our ability to mobilise swiftly and self-deliver with in-house resources proved key in stabilising the project and driving it forward.Working collaboratively with stakeholders, we ensured continuity of quality and compliance throughout. The success of this project reflects Combi’s proven capacity to assume primary delivery responsibility and steer projects through challenging circumstances with confidence and efficiency.
